ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
9:00 to 10:15am

It takes effort to cultivate a consistent walk with God. We offer a number of Adult Sunday School classes where we can study the Word of God, enjoy fellowship with each other and develop our relationship with Jesus Christ. Join us!

FUNDAMENTALS OF THE FAITH
9:00 to 10:15am in Room 802

Whether you are a new Christian or have been a Christian for as long as you can remember, it is helpful to study the basics of the faith so as to always be prepared to give an account for the hope that is in you (1 Peter 3:15). This excellent study by John MacArthur is guaranteed to be a blessing and is offered periodically throughout the year. Please call or email Kelly Jennaway to reserve a place - numbers are limited.

MAJOR DOCTRINES OF THE BIBLE

9:00 to 10:15am in Room 801

This series does an in-depth study of major doctrines of the church, (e.g., Christology, Scripture, God, Salvation, Church, etc.) over the course of about 3 years, one doctrine per semester. Gale Heide and Pastor Dave co-teach this class and they are currently studying the Doctrine of the Church (Ecclesiology).

COMMUNICATION 101 - Responding to Conflict Biblically
9:00 to 10:15am in Room 102-103

Join us as we study how to resolve conflict, using 'The Peacemaker' by Ken Sande. This class is led by Randy Walthall and Jay Moore.

BUILDING MARRIAGES GOD'S WAY
9:00 to 10:15am in Room 402

Whether you are married, considering marriage or trying to counsel a friend who is struggling in their marriage, it makes sense to know how God views this special relationship between a man and a woman. Ty and Jeanie Typolt lead this class in honoring God through your marriage.

THE HEART OF DAVID
9:00 to 10:15am in Activity Center.

The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart. 1 Samuel 13:14.  God's search ended with the person of David. What would a search of your heart reveal? Gus Nollmeyer leads this class.

KEENAGERS - CALLING ALL SENIORS!
The Keenagers is a ministry to the senior citizens of our church. Under the direction of Bill Bell, this group meets every Sunday at 10:20am in Room 101 and also on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 10:15am from September through May at the Bozeman Senior Citizen Center. The group meets for Bible Study, intercessory prayer and fellowship.

SMALL GROUP MINISTRY - F.L.O.C.K.S. GROUPS
A FLOCKS Group may be defined as a small "family" gathering where the participants meet together regularly to build up and encourage one another in Christ. Together they study the Word of God and apply its teaching to their lives. They experience the ministry of the Holy Spirit as they love and care for one another.

There are six goals that are foundational to achieving our objectives and thus fulfilling our over all purpose of glorifying God by being and making Disciples:

Followership - By the very definition of following, we are called into a deepening intimacy with Christ our leader.

Leadership - Kenneth Gangel defines leadership as "the exercise of one's spiritual gifts under the call of God to serve a certain group of people in achieving the goals God has given them in order to glorify Christ."

Outreach - A group can quickly become introspective. It needs to keep an outward focus. Outreach can be in the form of reaching out to the unbelieving world or reaching out to believers.

Caring - God did not intend for Christians to stand alone. He created the church as a caring community to bear each other's burdens, confess faults, teach and admonish each other, forgive and comfort each other.

Knowledge - Knowledge is necessary for spiritual growth. Early Christians were most often stimulated to spiritual growth through house meetings, where believers instructed each other. (Acts 20:20)

Supplication - Prayer is an essential feature of any small group. Why? Two reasons. First, prayer is one-half of our communication with God (the other half is reading the Word.) Secondly, you will search scripture in vain to find anyone who was effective for the Lord and did not have a prayer life.
