Music Ministry
Corresponding with the school calendar year, we offer a number of areas of service for those who are musically gifted. During those months, we offer the Worship Choir (open to anyone in the congregation; leading the Christmas and Easter celebrations and select Sundays), the Women’s Ensemble, Men’s Ensemble, Praise Team, and Worship Team. In addition, a children’s choir is generally offered at some point during the year.

Using the words of Dr. John Piper, our goal is “undistracting excellence: we will try to sing and play in such a way that people’s attention will not be diverted from the substance by shoddy ministry nor by excessive finesse, elegance or refinement. Natural, undistracting excellence will let the truth and beauty of God shine through.”
